Objectives

To celebrate the return of one of the most beloved musicals of all time, FOX turned to fans to create something new: a fan made music video featuring 500+ unique voices, turning the story of struggling artists into an influencer-driven phenomenon.

Strategy and Execution

their videos using #RentSingAlong. We collected submissions across YT, FB, TW, and IG, including influencers, Broadway casts, Rent’s past stars, and even Ariana and Frankie Grande!

We debuted the video at an exclusive Q&A, hosted at YouTube Space LA. The event was hosted by influencer and RentHead Thomas Sanders, and was attended by Jordan Doww, Josh Levi, Sam Tsui, Montana Tucker, and many more.

Results

The video was the most watched promotional piece for premiere week: totaling 1.5 M video views and 3.7 M impressions across RENT’s social pages, and an incredible 11.9 M video views across influencer posts! Creating a whole new generation of fans.
