By PARTICIPATING IN the Awards, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions described below (the "PRIVACY POLICY").

HOW DOES SHORTY AWARDS USE PERSONAL DATA AND NON-PERSONAL DATA?

WILL SHORTY AWARDS SHARE PERSONAL DATA WITH OTHERS?

If you are located outside the United States, in particular if you are located in Switzerland or the European Union (EU), please note that the Awards are based in the US. If you engage with the Awards, all information, including personal information, will be transferred to the Awards (including third parties to which data was disclosed as described above) in the United States and any information made public via our website may be viewed by individuals located anywhere in the world. Although this may include recipients of information located in countries where there may be a lower level of legal protection for your personal information than in your country, we will protect your information in accordance with requirements applicable to the law in your particular jurisdiction. LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING UNDER GDPR

We process and transfer some of your personal information under GDPR on the basis of your consent as described in this Privacy Policy. In addition, in certain circumstances, we process your personal information because it is necessary to enter into and perform a contract between the Awards and you. Finally, we may also process your personal information based on our legitimate interests to market and sell our Service.

THIRD PARTY ADVERTISERS

We may allow other companies, called third-party ad servers or ad networks, to serve advertisements on the website. These third-party ad servers or ad networks use technology to send, directly to your browser, the advertisements and links that appear on the website. IS MY INFORMATION SECURE?

IN THE EVENT OF MERGER, SALE, OR BANKRUPTCY

In the event that we are acquired by or merged with a third-party entity, we reserve the right to transfer or assign the information we have collected from users as part of such merger, acquisition, sale, or other change of control.
