Gravity Rush: The Gravity-Defying Post

Objectives

To celebrate the launch of Gravity Rush Remastered and highlight the protagonist's ability to control and manipulate the forces of gravity.

Strategy and Execution

In Gravity Rush Remastered, players wield incredible gravity-altering abilities. To promote the game's launch, we created a post that defied gravity. We turned every character in our post upside down with a piece of custom Unicode that replaced each letter with the corresponding inverted version of that character. The hack turned PlayStation's Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram on it's head and magically brought the game to life in social media.

Results

The post immediately picked up traction from people all across the gaming industry, including professionals from Polygon and beyond.
