Created by chocolatier Katrina Markoff to encourage, educate and propel American high school and college girls who have entrepreneurial dreams in food, Wild Ophelia is a premium but accessible line of chocolate.
10% of sales from every chocolate sold is contributed to the Wild Ophelia Accelerator Program, which awards three grants per year to high school and college aged girls with entrepreneurial foodie dreams.
Now in its third year, the program targets ambitious high school and college-aged girls with entrepreneurial dreams in food for a paid summer internship at the Vosges Haut Chocolat and Wild Ophelia Chocolate Temple in Chicago, IL.
Chosen participants will receive an immersive internship experience focusing on product development, operations, marketing, e-commerce and design. Each participant also will receive a $5,000 grant for her business and/or education.
