Richer Lives

Audience Honor in Branded Series

Objectives

Living a rich life is about more than how much money you have stashed in your bank account. So we created a show that educates people on how to use money to not only live comfortably, but have more fulfilling and enjoyable lives.

People view financial education from banks as boring and stuffy, so they turn to social media in search of financial guidance. But the videos waiting for them are sensationalized and filled with misinformation in the murky world of fintok.

79% of Millennials and Gen Z are turning to social media for financial education. They’re in need of a regular source of financial advice they can both relate to, and trust.

Strategy and Execution

SoFi created Richer Lives: a talk show hosted by credentialed experts in finance that uses a traditional podcast structure to give people the sense that they’re sitting down to talk money with a few of their friends. Together, Vivian Tu and Brian Walsh interview inspiring and well-known guests that speak candidly about their experiences with money and dish out advice on how to use it to live your best life. Since launching, Richer Lives has introduced an ever-growing audience across social media to financial advice that’s both entertaining and educational.
