The objective of this video was to create compelling, entertaining, social-first content in support of our DC League Of Super Pets film, released in July 2022.
We were faced with limited time to capture content with both Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart together for this film, so our team, in partnership with Warner Bros. Pictures, crafted several short-form and social-first video concepts that we would be able to capture and deliver with minimal time spent by the talent.
The Tortilla Challenge was trending at the time we shot it, so we loved the organic nature of the concept which allowed us to lean into the beloved dynamic between Dwayne and Kevin to promote the film. You'll notice the film's title art is in the background of the video, but we had little to no mention of the film in the creative of the video itself.
Our team shot this concept on two iPhones, knowing the organic approach works incredibly well on Dwayne's socials across platforms.
Our team cut the edit with the sense of humor of the TikTok audience in mind first and foremost, but ultimately it would work across all channels.
The video over performed on all platforms and over the lifetime of the posts, it hit 185M views, 28.5M engagements, 5.2M shares and saves combined, and well over 200M impressions across Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and TikTok.
All posts included a link to the DC League of Super Pets ticketing website, which drove a significant spike in ticket sales in the weeks leading up to release directly from our owned social channels. Press organically picked up the post and video and it circulated across all corners of the internet for several days to follow.
