Universal Parks and Resorts destinations are big, awesome, and thrilling. Every year we have a goal to create new and innovative ways to educate and entertain our Guests on everything we have to offer with the hope that they'll make us their destination of choice for their next unforgettable vacation.
How might we educate our potential guests about everything we have to offer while entertaining them with storytelling that is compelling, captivating, and familiar, yet still uniquely Universal?
The answer - Ride Guys.
We wanted to produce a binge-able YouTube video series that can act as an entertaining and informative guide to our must-do attractions across Universal Parks and Resorts' Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood destinations.
We knew our target audience of U.S. tourists living outside the Florida market had limited knowledge of the array of highly immersive experiences at UPR destinations. We also knew that in order to properly educate them about all there is to do, we would need to capture their attention at the level of their favorite YouTube web series. So we concepted, casted, and developed a show around the familiar and popular formulas of successful YouTube video series.
Investing in real branded entertainment storytelling is something we knew would work, but we had no idea how successful it would be.
In total, we published 10 episodes of Ride Guys videos covering attractions at Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood.
Ride Guys for Universal Orlando Resort have a total of 12 Million views and an Average Percentage Viewed of 50% across all 10 episodes. Each video has accumulated 100's of comments and reviews, here are just a few.

We even had a story from one of the guys who had a guest tell them their kids wrote “Ride a ride with the Ride Guys” on his Christmas list. This series truly took theme park videos for attractions to a whole new level.
