Barbara: The Next Chapter

Objectives

We were tasked by Montefiore Einstein to tell Barbara Higgins’ story through a visually moving and empowering narrative. This piece was to be the center focus of Montefiore Einstein’s 360 campaign surrounding Barbara.

After losing a child to a brain tumor, Barbara Higgins discovered she had three brain tumors. With the help of the Montefiore Einstein Neurology team, not only did she recover, at 57 she gave birth again.

Strategy and Execution

Our director, together with our creative directors, put forth a concept that emphasized the parallels of Barbara's story to conquering a mountain and knowing that each day the sun will rise again. Through the awe-inspiring scenery, we were able to effectively tell Barbara's story and instill inspiration in others. We also used the transition of dusk to dawn to further emphasize on Barbara's resilience to overcome her obstacles. 

Results

A two-minute, beautiful, and evocative narrative commercial that aired on TV, in Madison Square Garden, and has over 5.3million views.
