12 Hours With Anitta

Objectives

Facebook was developing a tentpole event for Hispanic Heritage Month and they came to Billboard to create dynamic, engaging content that would live at the center of their on-platform activation. The goal of the engagement was to drive awareness of the Latinx experience and celebrate the community across the Facebook platform.

Strategy and Execution

The four-part series took a deep look into four artists’ stories about how their heritages and roots helped build a foundation for their music careers, and how they’re shaping culture and building on generations of Latin influence across the globe. In this episode of 12 Hours With, global superstar Anitta takes us from the very beginning of her career to a behind the scenes look at her performance at the 2021 Billboard Latin Music Week, and discusses her influences from Brazilian Funk to mainstream pop.

Results

After a successful shoot with Anitta, our entire team was pleased with the outcome of the project and we accomplished the goals we set. We created dynamic, Latinx-focused content with a superstar artist to lead their campaign celebrating Latin culture across Facebook’s community.
