MTV's Jersey Shore Family Vacation - Valentine's Day E-Card Site

Objective

The Jersey Shore Valentines Day E-Card website was built to boost engagement leading into a new season premiere, increase social chatter around the series and use our IP to capitalize on a national holiday that fell within the promotional window for a new season.

 

Strategy

In an age where everything is digital, the Jersey Shore Valentines website allows fans to send e-cards directly to their loved ones (whether they’re celebrating with their mom, their meatball, or the person they want to “smush”). This microsite was custom-built and features unique video messages from Pauly D, Vinny, Ronnie, Mike, Snooki, JWoww and Deena. Users can choose between several card categories, video e-card messages, and designs to create super-customized messages to share with their loved ones on Facebook, Twitter, or directly in an SMS text message.

 

Results

We saw great success with this activation; our fans sent numerous e-cards via social media and SMS messages throughout the holiday. The site launched on February 13th, 2020 -- two weeks prior to the launch of Jersey Shore Family Vacation Season 3B. The site has seen over ​115K page views ​and​ 9.3K users​ completing 1​ 1K sessions, ​and also got press coverage on People.com.
