Objectives

Disney Storytime was created in response to the challenges facing families throughout 2020. With the help from the biggest names in entertainment, Disney Storytime provided bedtime stories and pick-me-ups to families stuck at home around the world.

Strategy and Execution

In partnership with celebrities and Disney Publishing, 52 unique Storytime videos were released. Each one featured talent at home, reading a selection from a Disney, Pixar, Marvel, or Star Wars book. Participants included Daisy Ridley, Jeff Goldblum, Sterling K. Brown, Elizabeth Olsen, and many more. It was important for families to feel like they had support during the trying times of 2020 and Disney Storytime was there to provide it.

Results

Disney Storytime achieved the goal of giving families a Disney connection and giving kids entertaining bedtime stories to help navigate 2020. The series also served as a showcase for talent across Disney's many brands and franchises.
