Last Man Standing: Last Fan Standing

Objectives

To celebrate the loyal fans who helped bring Last Man Standing back to television, FOX launched a UGC social sweepstakes and fan challenge to generate buzz around the show's return and its new home on FOX.

Strategy and Execution

Through a UGC social sweepstakes, Last Man Standing found the top fans to participate in the ultimate fan challenge. The fan challenge consisted of trivia questions during a 48-hour screening marathon. Fans were selected at random to participate in trivia and various standing challenges throughout the event, aiming to help FOX find the "Last Fan Standing" and the biggest fan of the show.

Results

Over 13,000 fans entered the sweepstakes within 10 days, and 30 were selected to watch the series from the beginning and compete in various trivia challenges for 48 hours. The event took place in Los Angeles at Hollywood & Highland where talent participated in a Facebook Live to kick off the event. At the end of the challenge, the Last Fan Standing was awarded a walk-on role for an episode that aired in December of 2018.
