Objectives

Foodler.com has but one objective regarding taking home the "shorty" and that is, taking home the "shorty"! Make no mistake, it will be a battle till the bitter end, but it is a battle we are meant to win. We take pride in our product, our staff, our users, and of course our restaurant partners alike, and it is our hope that by winning the shorty we'll be able to transcend even further into the stratosphere bringing great convenience, customer service and awesome food, to an even larger group of these folks that we care so much about.

Our strategy is, that we are going for the win in the newly formed category, the "small business" shorty award instead of the "facebook" shorty where we'd be competing with giant companies. We have a better chance at taking home the win in the small business category because "small business" is a more appropriate categorization for our business as that is what we are, we are a small, organically grown, company from Boston MA. with far reaching strong, branches that span the United States and of course one city in Canada as well! Judges, we hope you will consider all of this when completing your task and will choose us, the Foodler family for the honor of winning the first annual "small business" shorty award!

Strategy and Execution

Foodler.com is the most user friendly and functional online takeout/delivery ordering portal in the USA. We make it possible for thousands of people across US major metropolitan areas (and some suburban ones as well) to effortlessly order and rapidly receive a variety of different cuisines of their choice delivered right to their door, or they can opt to pick it up themselves at the Foodler affiliated restaurant of their choice.

Besides having the greatest website east of the Mississippi www.foodler.com, we also have made things even simpler for our hungry customers across the country with the launch of our ios and DROID mobile apps which have in the last few years have created a vast increase in overall order volume in fact the majority of our orders at present come to us via these mobile applications.

At Foodler.com our number one priority are our users. We have a professional, and seasoned team of customer support staff that works round the clock to ensure a smooth and happy order experience for all of our customers. We want to be certain that whether it is the customers 1st order placed through us, or the 1,001st that they're order experience goes smoothly and they go away, happy and most importantly come back to us happily to place all of their future delivery orders from foodler!

We have a very strong social media presence especially for a small businesses (we have approximately 50 employees nationally). Some of our raw facebook statistics are: 130,411 Total Likes and counting. Weekly average stats are approx. 100+new likes per week, 10K total reach, 7K post reach, and 500 engaged/followers, likes, comments, shares and 1000+ post clicks.

Twitter presence: 2,347 followers and counting.

We could praise ourselves all day long, but what really matters is that the shorty for small businesses is awarded to the most deserving entrant and it is our hope as a caring and grateful small business that we will be found in all the judges wisdom to be the most deserved to carry that honor of being the first ever "shorty" recipient in the small business category.
