Unreal Fest is Epic Games’ global conference for the Unreal Engine, bringing together developers, artists, and technical leaders working across gaming, film, VFX, animation, and virtual production. It's where real-time technology is actively tested, discussed, and pushed forward by the people building with it every day.
For Legion, Unreal Fest offered direct access to one of the most influential creative communities in the world. It was the ideal environment to introduce the Lenovo Legion 9i, our most powerful device to date, and demonstrate its relevance as a performance-driven tool for creators.
The objective was to connect authentically with this community, showcase Legion’s broader ecosystem, and position the Legion 9i as a device built for real creative workflows.
Rather than approaching Unreal Fest as a standard trade show, Legion treated it as a working session with the creative community. Attendees are active builders who expect to test, challenge, and validate the tools they use. The experience needed to earn their attention through substance and spectacle.
The booth was intentionally structured around three interconnected pillars, Captivate, Challenge, and Connect, designed to reflect how creators engage with technology. Each element moved attendees from initial curiosity to hands-on experimentation to meaningful dialogue with the brand.
To Captivate, Legion designed a visually bold, immersive booth that stood out within a show floor known for technical sophistication. Animated displays and real-time visuals showcased Legion’s ecosystem in a way that felt native to the Unreal community, while exclusive Legion loot created a tangible connection beyond the event.
To Challenge, Legion transformed the booth into an interactive playground. The Stamp Quest encouraged exploration across multiple touchpoints, rewarding curiosity and discovery. The AimLabs leaderboard introduced a competitive layer rooted in performance and precision, qualities that resonate deeply with both gamers and technical creators.
To Connect, Legion prioritized depth over scale. Creator-led sessions with Loftia and Swammy delivered practical insights and real-world perspectives, drawing engaged audiences. At the same time, Legion’s product team led guided, hands-on demos of the Legion 9i, allowing attendees to experience its performance within creative workflows that mirrored their own. Every interaction reinforced why the device mattered in real production environments.
Legion emerged as one of the most visited and talked-about booths at Unreal Fest, quickly becoming a central hub for attendees throughout the event. The combination of immersive design, hands-on challenges, and creator-led programming consistently drew crowds, driving sustained footfall and repeat engagement across all days.
The booth became a natural gathering point for creators looking to test hardware, exchange ideas, and share content, helping position Legion as a brand deeply embedded in the Unreal community. Rather than a one-time interaction, attendees spent meaningful time with the Legion 9i, engaging directly with the product and the people behind it.
The activation translated into strong organic visibility, high engagement, and measurable community growth, reinforcing Legion’s leadership at the intersection of gaming performance and creative technology.
