Objective

After a two-and-a-half year hiatus, The White Lotus returned reigniting global curiosity with a whole new story and unique cast of characters. Set against the lush backdrop of Thailand, our campaign aimed to portray the people and culture of this new setting with respect and authenticity.   Our integrated marketing campaign kept things fresh, combining bold social storytelling, dynamic creative, standout brand collaborations, and unforgettable live events.

Strategy

To reintroduce The White Lotus as a global cultural force, HBO launched a fully integrated campaign that matched the ambition of its most expansive season yet. Set in Thailand, the campaign wove together bespoke brand partnerships, immersive fan experiences, and provocative social storytelling to elevate the series  to a worldwide event. From high-profile premieres in Los Angeles and Bangkok to luxe Four Seasons activations, influencer kits, and collabs with Google Pixel, Diageo, and Amex, every touchpoint reinforced the show’s aspirational world. A 360 approach across print, A/V, social, digital, experiential, and consumer product partnerships drove massive global reach: doubling social followings, surpassing previous seasons in viewership, and sparking an eight-week reign at the center of the cultural zeitgeist.

With The White Lotus Season 3, our campaign sparked global conversation, fueled by immersive events and culturally resonant storytelling. The show’s growing global presence and surging viewership cemented its status as a pop culture phenomenon. Harnessing the momentum of fan dialogue, premium partnerships, and social innovation, we drove unprecedented growth across followers, platforms, and audiences — setting a new bar for HBO Max Originals.

6.2 million viewers tuned into the S3 finale. A massive 30% increase from previous series highs. In the U.S. the S3 premiere is nearing 20 million views, with S3 averaging approx. 16 million viewers and growing. While social growth and engagement hit an all time high.
