Jay Shetty's mission is to spread love, purpose, and transformation to individuals around the world. He started On Purpose in 2019 with the goal of inviting listeners into conversations and workshops that are designed to help make them happier, healthier and more healed. Jay's interviews include the most renowned experts, celebrities, thought leaders, and athletes to share a side of them that has never been shared before that also welcomes listeners to grow their mindsets, build productive and healthy habits and become the best version of themselves. Jay has always believed and demonstrated that when people feel seen, heard and understood, they are able to deal with life’s ups and downs with more ease and grace.

 

Strategy

This past year marked another pivotal evolution for On Purpose. As the platform continues to scale rapidly, we remain grounded in our core priority: preserving authenticity. Every episode is held to the same standard - intentional, educational, enlightening, and relatable - ensuring our audience continues to feel seen, heard, and understood. With the podcast reaching over 1 billion listens to date and Jay reaching more than 700 million monthly views across platforms, we're able to focus on building impact.

The On Purpose community has remained central. We have transformed our platforms into spaces for participation and shared growth, while continuing to spotlight deeply human, never-before-heard conversations with guests like Madonna, Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco, Emma Watson, Chris Hemsworth, Matthew McConaughey, Cardi B, Michelle Obama and experts like Dr. Orna Guralnik, Tony Robbins all in the past year. Each of them sharing a side to themselves they have never shared before and receiving an incredible & positive reaction from the audience.

2025 also marked a major expansion of the On Purpose experience beyond digital. Jay went on his first-ever live podcast tour across North America, bringing the show to iconic venues and audiences nationwide - interviewing guests such as Jimmy Kimmel at the Greek Theatre, Common at the Chicago Theatre, Joe Jonas at Hardrock Live in Hollywood, FL, Julia Fox at the Theater at Madison Square Garden and more - transforming the podcast into a live, cultural moment and deepening real-world community connection.

We introduced trend-setting social content that redefined how wellness content shows up in short-form - allowing meaningful ideas to travel faster while remaining thoughtful and intentional. To deepen engagement beyond traditional episodic content, we launched the first-ever On Purpose digital first magazine, creating a curated, immersive format for storytelling, reflection, and learning - extending the brand into a new editorial medium. This year, we also added a third weekly episode, giving our audience even more consistent access to transformative conversations and tools for personal growth and introduced special series such as Jay and Radhi episodes.

 

Results

On Purpose is a flagship podcast within the iHeart network and ranks as the #1 podcast in the Health and Wellness category, demonstrating that our focus on purposeful, high-quality content resonates deeply with a global audience. Jay was also recognized by numerous outlets this year including The Hollywood Reporter as one of the Top 44 Podcasters and TIME’s Top 100 Creators, highlighting his influence and leadership in the space.

Since its launch, On Purpose has surpassed 1 billion listens and added over 2 million YouTube subscribers this year alone - bringing the channel to more than 5 million total subscribers on youtube. Across platforms, Jay now reaches over 700 monthly views across platforms. Beyond audience growth, we have successfully cultivated meaningful brand partnerships with companies that align with our values, including Audible, Chase, Match, AT&T, MasterClass, BMW, and more. These collaborations reflect the trust and credibility we’ve built with both listeners and industry partners, showing that our content delivers value beyond engagement - it drives impact.

We’ve fostered a highly engaged community across platforms, where millions actively participate in discussions, share insights, and connect around the principles of personal growth, mindfulness, and wellness. Our trend-setting social templates and digital magazine have extended this engagement further, creating new ways for our audience to interact with the brand and deepen their connection.
