Objective

The objective of Mickey & Friends Scroll Break is to encourage users to stop scrolling and take a mental health break. These custom animated videos feature a unique digital style and the iconic Mickey & Friends characters voices to give fans gentle tips like get a drink of water, go for a walk, take a stretch, journal, cook, and spend time with family & friends.

Strategy

To achieve this objective, the strategy involved highlighting Mickey & Friends iconic voices to share friendly reminders to stop scrolling and take a little break. Tapping into each Pal’s personality, each stop scrolling video suggests activities that they each do for a relaxing and refreshing break. Mickey learns new recipes and takes Pluto for a walk, Minnie reads with a cup of tea, Goofy likes to make pancakes for his loved ones, and Donald wants you to go outside and look at the sky so he can have some peace and quiet.

Results

Mickey Scroll Break garnered 3.4 Million Views on Disney TikTok and was one of our 2025 Top Performing Posts on @MickeyMouse with 1.8M Content Views and a 10.1% Engagement Rate on Instagram. The other Mickey Scroll Break we released last year also performed strongly with an 8.1% Engagement Rate on Instagram. All of the Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy Scroll Break videos resulted in a total of over 3.8M Views on TikTok and 2.7M Views on Instagram.
