On April 17, 2025, professional hair care brand Matrix hosted an event to generate buzz around their Super Sync demi-permanent collection. Agency Guacamole executed a VIP masterclass hosted by Sharon Spellman (480k following) and incorporated various content opportunities designed to encourage influencers to post about the event.
The brand hosted an exclusive VIP session to spotlight the new Matrix Super Sync semi-permanent demi hair color. With the help of live models, this helped showcase their best new looks and drive high-impact content creation.
Following the Masterclass, VIP attendees were transported by limousine bus to the main Superstar Super Sync Product Launch Party in Hollywood. To help expand reach and social media engagement, 200 LA-based influencers were in attendance. The event activated a series of standout immersive activations and photo opportunities aligned with the Superstar theme and product education, including:
• Matrix pink carpet with life-size star walkthrough step & repeat
• Matrix Walk of Fame wth SuperSync stars along the pink carpet
• A custom pink pop-up Matrix salon featuring live hair models in salon chairs showcasing the SuperSync shades, plus and education counter for hair pros to learn about the product
• Matrix magazine cover photo opportunity
• Life-size Super Sync Star photo moment
Guests were also able to visit the Matrix shopping experience where they could "shop" for product that best suited their haircare needs.
The general feedback received from attendees was incredibly positive. The majority of guests expressed that they loved the event and had a great time. Additionally, attendees appreciated the opportunity to connect and network with other hair professionals. The attendees loved capturing content of the photo moments at the event and as a result, we saw 116 creators posting across social media with a total reach of 2.51M video views.
