Dancing with the Stars This or That

Spread awareness that Dancing with the Stars is coming back for a new season, airing this year on Disney+! This was a big challenge because up until this point, Dancing with the Stars had aired for 30 seasons on ABC. Our main goal for the campaign was to get the word out that the show moved to Disney+.

Strategy and Execution

As a live show, it's difficult to create promotional content in the pre-premiere window. Thankfully for Dancing with the Stars, we had an amazing marketing shoot with a few of our professional dancers. The show has now been airing for so long that the dancers themselves are beloved by fans. We created a fun vertical video that shows them playing a game of Disney themed This or That. In the video, they dance towards their answer rather than saying it! By combing both dancing and the Disney brand, we were able to draw a connection between Disney+ and Dancing with the Stars.


We reached 562K fans and gained over 24k likes across Dancing with the Stars and Disney+ social platforms, which was above average. This was posted to Reels so stats from this time are limited.
