90 Day Fiance and Beyond: Nourishing the Social Audience
For TLC, one of our primary objectives is to find out the audience on new social platforms and nourish them, as well as offer them exciting new takes on the content they already love! In 2020, this translated to 1) creating a presence on TikTok, as well as 2) finding new short-form video formats as companions for fan favorites. Specifically for the 90 Da…
Blood and Water: Social Campaign
Nosipho Dumisa’s Blood and Water had everything a YA fan could want: a vibrant world full of  melodrama and intrigue, a soundtrack that felt like it came from the future, and a young, diverse cast eager to make their mark. What it needed, however, was visibility - with no established IP or existing fanbases to lean on, Netflix knew that they’d need to do so…
Enter The Butcher
A wild first season of The Boys dropped in July 2019 and left cult fans wanting more of these transgressive superheroes and the anti-heroes who know the truth. The series quickly built buzz, certified Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes, and delighted fans who found it.  In January, Amazon greenlit a nine-month lead up to catapult the September premiere of Season 2 in…
Greenleaf
Greenleaf was OWN’s first scripted series and since its launch in 2016, it has consistently been one of OWN's hightest-rated and most social series, focused on the church, family, and the secrets that lie beneath. In June 2020, OWN was launching the fifth and final season. Our social strategy was to provide the fan favorite series with the homegoing celebra…
P-Valley Social Campaign: Welcome to The Pynk
The key to turning this southern-fried series into a cultural phenomenon? Authenticity. Katori Hall’s colorful and complex world of STARZ’ P-Valley told the story of a Black southern experience never before seen on television. The country slanguage, layered characters, original music, Delta Noir aesthetic (baybee, the list finna go on) gave STARZ a chance t…
Prime Video’s “The Pack” Packed Weekend
What if, just for one weekend, we honored the unconditional love and unmatched bond between humans and dogs with a weekend unlike any other? To celebrate the premiere of The Pack, Amazon Prime Video created the ultimate holiday for dogs and the people who love them: an extraordinary "Packed Weekend”, offering one-of-a-kind, pup-centric experiences. This …
Shameless “10 Day Bender” Campaign
Just like the Gallaghers, the Shameless fandom is outrageous, unapologetic, and full of heart. In our 11th and final season, we needed to pull out all the stops to celebrate the Gallaghers’ symbolic last call with fans. So, how do we give back to our loyal and passionate fandom while encouraging catch-up and re-watches before premiere? We did what any…
Star Wars: The Clone Wars (The Final Season)
Canceled in 2012, the fan-favorite animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars returned in 2020 for the long-awaited 7th and final season. In addition to the extended hiatus, Season 7 saw Clone Wars make the move to the newly launched Disney+ platform. Working with our partners at Disney+ and Lucasfilm, our goal was to excite Clone Wars fans for the return of…
The Umbrella Academy - Season 2 Campaign
In season two of The Umbrella Academy, our super siblings traveled back in time to the 1960s…and brought our campaign with them. Our goal was to solidify and strengthen the fandom we created in Season 1 by feeding them content for their faves, taking on a fresh look, and making every single fan feel like a Certified Brelly.
