"Attack of the Show!" is G4’s irreverent, daily source for all things that young men care about – from the latest technology, games and gadgets to comic books, internet culture and more. As G4’s live and interactive trip to the water-cooler, this show gets the scoop before it gets out through exclusive interviews, breaking news and behind-the-scenes sneak peeks at special events. "Attack of the Show" engages its viewers and fans every night by way of two forms of live Twitter integration: With a question of the day, where viewers’ responses are shown in an on-screen Twitter Ticker and via our Twitter Wall, where we push viewer comments about the show and questions for the hosts in near-real time. "Attack of the Show" was one of the very first (if not the first) live television programs to integrate Twitter and the opinions, thoughts and questions of its viewers into its daily content. In the two years of direct Twitter integration into our daily content, "Attack of the Show" has grown it’s fan base and created a unique platform for its fans to interact with the show. The Twitter Ticker and especially the Twitter Wall have become important parts of the show’s daily content and have become expected by our viewers. The Twitter Wall is produced in near-real time and is used to communicate the opinions of the day’s content directly to the hosts and producers of the show. It also functions as an immediate Q&A forum for hosts Kevin Pereira and Candace Bailey to answer requests from fans. The Twitter Wall has also been featured in live comedy segments, such as a recent game of “Twitter Twister", where the audience gave directions to the hosts in a live version of the classic game, Twister. The interactive nature and functions of the Twitter Wall have proven so popular with G4’s audience, that they have grown beyond "Attack of the Show," and have been included in our live event coverage of Comic-Con, the E3 Video games Expo and the Consumer Electronics Show. While this is obviously a great thing, it all comes back to where live television integration on G4 originated, "Attack of the Show."
