Our goal was to gain Lenovo some warranted notoriety; not just as the global leader in innovative consumer and commercial tech products and solutions, but as the experts in complex tech concepts on everyone's minds: topics like 5G, virtual reality, voice command and blockchain. But how do you cut through the clutter of explainer videos and deliver the content in a fresh way that's both entertaining and enlightening? We decided to take on the challenge.
With over 50,000 employees globally, we have experts in every discernible tech field. So of course, we could have written white papers, or blogs, or listed specs on product pages to provide our point of view or share insights around these trending tech topics. But what fun is that? It's part of our Lenovo DNA to do things differently (but always for the sake of doing them better than they've been done before.) So we thought it would be fun to show that our employees don't just talk the talk - they actually walk the walk - even if it means taking said walk blindfolded from 200 feet above ground as they try to explain Blockchain technology.

The Extreme I.T. series has been a roaring success. With more than 18.6M video views and counting on YouTube alone, the six videos in the series have proven to be a great way to turn "explainer videos" on their head.
On LinkedIn, we were pleasantly surprised at the incredibly positive sentiment these videos garnered with a premium, I.T. Decision Maker audience.
Due to its success, we have begun adapting these assets for retail, talent acquisition, experiential event activations, and more.
