An investigative documentary that traces the unique circumstances of Saydnaya Prison, the most notorious prison under the Assad regime in Syria, and the reason behind its global reputation for torture practices that earned it the nickname "the slaughterhouse" after the Syrian revolution. By exploring Saydnaya Prison from different angles, the film documents the system used by the prison administration to deal with detainees inside Syria during the Assad regime. The film exclusively documents precise details related to all stages of a prisoner's journey, from the moment of arrest until they reach either (freedom, transfer to hospital, or death), which have never been shown before and are narrated by detainees. The film includes exclusive, detailed testimonies related to the process of disposing of the bodies of dead detainees, as the film was accompanied by a doctor and nurse who received the bodies to be placed in morgues. The film also exclusively accompanied a gravedigger who revealed to us one of the mass graves where the bodies of detainees were buried. The film includes the largest photography of the Saydnaya Prison's architectural structure, from the inside and outside, as well as the cells and execution rooms.
