As Bumble's Director of Talent and Influencer Christina leads on all things she's passionate about: the world of celebrity and influencer and how that socially impacts and shapes all cultural landscapes. In her role Christina leads on scaling Bumble's talent and influencer marketing strategy in order to translate the brands messaging and mission to new audiences globally, with the goal of increasing brand awareness, securing brand trust and, in turn, obtaining and retaining user acquisition. Previously in her role as Director of Talent and Events at Special Projects Media, she worked with a wide variety of partners including WSJ Magazine, AppleTV+, Bumble, Amazon, and Universal Pictures to curate high profile events with engaging and thoughtful talent integration. She has managed a variety of high-profile celebrity events on behalf of SP, including Armand de Brignac Oscar Party (aka the Gold Party), NYFW Savage x Fenty Fashion Show, W Magazine's Best Performances Party and WSJ Innovators. Christina began her career at PAPER magazine in 2008 and continued on the path of publishing after joining the marketing and events team at ESSENCE Magazine (at that time a Time Inc Company) in 2010. From 2010-2016 she continued her career growth within the Time Inc family, being promoted to various marketing and event management positions at ESSENCE, People en Español and InStyle and leading on some of the brands most successful event marketing franchises including: ESSENCE Black Women in Hollywood and Black Women in Music, ESSENCE House, The InStyle Awards, People en Español Festival and 50 Más Bellos and managing key talent and marketing activations during ESSENCE's iconic live event: ESSENCE Festival. In 2016 Christina joined the Talent Integration team at Sunshine Sachs where she worked at the intersection of talent booking and events for some of the most notable corporate brands, entertainment festivals and impactful nonprofit organizations. Most notably (and most memorably) being a member of the talent programming team for the 2017 Women's March on Washington.
