The Smarter Infrastructure campaign's primary objective is to drive top-of-funnel awareness for Lenovo's infrastructure solutions powered by Intel Xeon processors. The third season of the campaign launched in June 2023 to a global audience of IT and business decision makers in 7 priority markets - the US, UK, India, Mexico, Germany, Japan and Brazil.
Whether it's powering real-time analytics at the edge for Ducati Corse's MotoGP winning bikes or equipping the animators and engineers at DreamWorks Animation to bring blockbuster movies to life, Lenovo infrastructure solutions and Intel processors play a vital role.
Produced by Courageous Studios and distributed across CNN digital and social channels, these bold and emotionally engaging branded documentaries take us all around the world to showcase how real Lenovo and Intel customers are accelerating innovation and finding solutions for humanity’s greatest challenges.
After garnering over 31 million brand impressions and 207,000+ engagements across seven priority markets in 2022, it was an easy decision to extend the program with Intel, Courageous Studios and CNN for another year.
From a content perspective, our aim was to present multi-tiered stories that feature compelling Lenovo and Intel customer use cases. To showcase the breadth of Lenovo’s offering, we chose customers from a wide variety of industries and verticals that use our technology to bolster efficiency, design innovative new techniques, and build market share to become industry leaders.
Hosting and promoting the content with a global leader like CNN helped us target IT and Business Decision Makers across seven global markets, including the US, UK, Germany, Japan, India, Brazil, and Mexico. The distribution strategy leveraged CNN social media, CNN run of site, and exclusive CNN editorial sponsorships including Risk Takers and Innovate.
The 2023 program outperformed CNN's CTR and viewability benchmarks and was deemed a top-performing campaign. We saw a significant YoY growth in terms of video completion and engagement across markets.
