Sadeem is a digitally exclusive talent competition format for aspiring content creators in the Arab world. In the series 20 contestants are brought to Beirut, Lebanon to compete for the title of the ‘Best Arab Content Creator.’
The aim of the competition is to provide content creators with the necessary skills, tools and exposure to elevate digital Arab content, delivering a positive message that lifts and inspires Arab youth.
Season 2 of the digital series was published over a ten-week period in early 2019 on YouTube, Facebook and Instagram. Content included 9 weekly episodes and 8 live eliminations as well as other exciting weekly segments.
In the series 20 contestants from across the Arab world are brought to Beirut, Lebanon to compete for the title of the ‘Best Arab Content Creator.’ Each week a panel of judges, which includes some of the top Arab influencers in the region decide, along with the audience, who goes to the next round and who goes home.
Each week the stakes increase until only one contestant remains. Our strategy is to produce digitally exclusive content utilizing all the digital resources, tools and platforms available to us.
We produce everything from regular episodes, to lives, short and long form videos, entertainment segments as well as online audience voting; making us the first in the Arab region to ever host a digitally exclusive series to this magnitude with this success level.
Having successfully built a diverse pan-Arab digital audience of over 2 million followers in 50 countries, across platforms, we, at Sadeem, are proud to be the first in the region to create a digitally exclusive competition series for aspiring content creators.
From our submissions campaign till the finale, Sadeem has reached over 160 million people, generating more than 155 million video views and 158.8 million minutes viewed!
Each of our contestants had a powerful message, from body image positivity, cyberbullying, to breaking cultural taboos and our mission has been to amplify and help spread stories from all 20 of our contestants.
Our true success was inspiring our audience to share their own stories and journeys, creating viral hashtags and initiating impactful digital conversations across the Arab world.
