Objectives

Before every important football match, it's always dinner time that gathers all the friends and family. In order to celebrate the biggest rivarly between FC Barcelona and Real Madrid, we made a real-time communication by doing a culinary commentary of El Clásico.

Before El Clásico had started, we got into the kitchen and made ready all the ingredients we were about to use. Also, one of the key elements of success was the quality of photography. This is why we created the most important moments of the match with the ingredients posting them on Beko's Twitter account in real-time, minute by minute in order to maximise Beko's social impressions.

Strategy and Execution

Beko, Europe's 1st home appliances brand, sponsor of the world's biggest football club, FC Barcelona, wanted to show its global vision, communicating with as many people as possible.

Beko also believes in team work and FC Barcelona is the perfect team to connect with all the football fans all around the globe. Although, most of the football fans are men, so we decided to reach women who enjoy cooking in the kitchen; making a connection between them and football.

Results

During our real-time communication more than 3000 people started to follow Beko Twitter account. We got 2 million impression. Our Twitter posts retweeted more than 1.000 times and were favourite 1.158 times.

Beko FCB Kitchen was appeared on the many local advertising sites and local press.
