Mavatar is the first consumer centric e-commerce platform that helps consumers navigate through the decision process and transaction stages, reducing friction in online shopping and affiliate sales at the same time.

Mavatar's desktop and mobile apps bring transparency to shopping. By browsing our marketplace, coupons, look-a-likes, stories, all become available on the given products from top retailers all in one place. Users can make informed & faster purchasing decisions!

Mavatar allows shoppers to create universal, smart and social shopping carts to compare products from different stores in a personal cart that automatically finds and applies the highest value promo codes (public and personal) to the products. Users can share carts with friends, fans and followers. Shop our Featured Editors' carts where fashion and lifestyle influencers' create shoppable content. Mavatar also allows users to save time and money by receiving price drop notifications and discount alerts.

Shopping is no stranger to guilt! By shopping from Mavatar's #CartforCause, not only do consumers feel a sense of connection to their favorite Editor or celebrity, but they also experience the powerful feeling of giving back. All sales proceeds go to the editors' cause of choice.

We love working with a variety of organizations to ignite the same emotion for a great cause. Our technology made creation, sharing and tracking their sales as easy as sharing a link with their donors!

Strategy and Execution

One of the most successful Carts for cause was #BCA Pink Carts. In October 2014, Mavatar partnered with famous celebrities such as Lil' Kim, Rap Singer, Shawn Thornton, NHL player and fashion bloggers across the country to help raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness month.

Some of famous fashion bloggers and celebrities, who normally share Mavatar carts with fans for profit, accepted our invitation to participate in our #CartforCause campaign, #Cancer and create shoppable content to benefit American Cancer Society.

The shoppers/fans were:

1- Buying recommended 'pink' products from the #CartforCause carts
2- Posting 'selfies' in pink clothing they bought from Mavatar Pink Carts in social media
3- Nominating three other friends to participate
All sales proceeds of these carts that usually gets divided between Mavatar and our Editors', were donated to the American Cancer Society.

The two-week campaign results were astonishing. A total of 14 carts reached a combined audience of nearly 5 million people, across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google Plus, and Mavatar's social network with an accumulation of 16,000 likes! Over $750 was contributed to American Cancer Society.
