#JobAtHeavenOnEarth Global Instagram Project

For the first time Instagram users could apply for a job through instagram globally: Keen to be more creative than other brands, Hillside Beach Club -a five star holiday resort located in Fethiye in Turkey- announced via its Instagram account that it was on the hunt for Chief Instagram Officers – a specially created role which offers the chance for savvy travellers to spend the week at Hillside managing the resort’s Instagram account. The resort asked consumers to apply for a job through the social media platform itself, rather than win a prize, and hosted all instructions and T&Cs on a dedicated Instagram account, To enter, users were invited to simply post their very best beach shots with @hillsidebeachclub under the hashtag #jobatheavenonearth. Applicants were competing for just six positions in paradise being judged solely on the quality of their camera skills and their social media presence. The winning entries can be viewed here:, with UK resident Ido Simyoni chosen as one of the lucky six. In addition to announcing the competition and promoting it through Instagram, Hillside used their own Facebook page to encourage entries and also posted the job on LinkedIn in the UK, Holland, Germany, Belgium, Russia, Italy, Spain and USA, ensuring the activity reached professionals, as well as consumers active on Instagram. Hillside Beach Clubs offers a luxurious destination for families and couples alike. Situated in a secluded, serene bay surrounded by woodland, its setting ensures its guests a peaceful and rejuvenating stay in keeping with the natural and unspoilt surrounds. The beautiful resort enjoys an enviable climate from April through to October and the heavenly backdrop of the rolling green Turkish mountains and the Aegean coast.

Hillside Beach Club, a five star holiday resort located in Fethiye in Turkey has captured the imagination of avid Instagram users the world over with a creative social media campaign, which resulted in over 25,000 entries and its followers rocketing from 11,000 to 30,000 in just over 3 weeks. (Now it has 45,806 followers) The innovative social media campaign had more than 25,000 high quality entries that helped boost brand awareness around the globe. Instagram followers increased from 11,000 to more than 30,000, and the project went viral, reaching over 15 million users. The project got one of the highest number of participants in Instagram globally within this year.
