Objective

Showcase our community’s creativity and craftsmanship by bringing their expertise and creative process to the forefront

Strategy

We showcased the mesmerizing creative processes of our seller community, pulling back the curtain on their work through reframing their existing content into a brand attainable format. 

Our team sources for the best and most engaging UGC from our seller community and turns it into a recognizable piece of brand content that highlights our community's creativity and skillset. 

 

Results

As a result, we scaled Etsy’s social influence to new heights, resulting in over 628 million video views (our primary attention metric), the result of double and triple digit increases across all of our social channels, more than doubling our 2023 total (+102% YOY). Multiple videos surpassed 1M views, with Broccoli Casting reaching over 8M views on Instagram and Pumpkin Glass Blowing reaching over 6M views on TikTok. 

Our flagship Instagram, our most heavily viewed channel, saw an astonishing 35.6% increase in 2023. We also saw incredible growth on TikTok, growing our audience 72% and our views 74.6%.
