Everyone’s favorite fictitious corporation knows a good idea when it sees one. After a Very Important Announcement was promised by someone famously not on Twitter, the next morning on December 15th, 2022 we noticed that NFTs and digital collectibles were suddenly at the top of all our trending topics. That’s when we knew it was time to do what we do best: make it all about us!
We kicked off development as soon as we had this very good, very important idea. (Sometimes reality really is the best satire). We were live within five hours of someone’s initial attention-grabbing NFT release. Social media immediately noticed our post, as did the wider media world. All it took was a single timely post.
Social media embraced this satire of our grim shared timeline, with the announcement of the Official Homelander digital non-fungible jpeg gaining 8.4M Impressions and 195K Engagements, all organic.
