One Tree Planted is an environmental non-profit organisation focused on making it easy for individuals and businesses to donate funds towards global reforestation. We partner with reforestation projects in North America, Latin America, Africa, and Asia to get trees planted in areas that have been devastated by fire, drought, and floods caused by climate change. We strive to plant trees that are more adaptable to climate changes in order to restore landscapes; protect existing crops, agriculture, and wildlife biodiversity; improve water quality; improve air quality by offsetting CO2 emissions; generate sustainable seeds for future growth and livestock feed; provide nursery support; support agroforestry education in local areas; provide jobs; improve soil health; revive local economies; provide food and forest products; support sustainable timber; reduce poverty and malnutrition; and restore community well-being.
One Tree Planted continually strives to make giving back easier. Donors can easily purchase 1 tree for $1 at whatever volume they decide either on the One Tree Planted website or on several third-party platforms. In addition, One Tree Planted helps to suggest ways for donors to give back and make a difference through personal or group fundraisers, employee matching programs, and its One-for-One programs customised to reflect the mission, operations, and/or interests of the donor.

Thanks to our amazing supporters and business partners, One Tree Planted was able to plant more trees than ever in 2019. Our supporters donated $5,899,721 (an increase of 200% from 2018-2019) enough to plant 4,010,962 trees this year, the rest to be planted early 2020. With its partners, One Tree Planted planted a high volume of trees, with more than 1.8 million in North America, 1.2 million in Africa, 465,000 in Asia, and 423,000 in Latin America. Over 30,765 hectares of land have been restored in 18 countries, which helps to sequester 87,328 tonnes of potential CO2 per year.
