Ask anyone, and they’ll tell you Loki the Wolfdog has been “breakin’ hearts since 2012.” Denver-based outdoorsman Kelly Lund started documenting the relationship with his best friend Loki, a low-content wolf hybrid, on Instagram with no expectations of stardom. Five years and nearly 2M followers later, their journey through the rugged mountain wilderness of the American west has moved off the gram, working with the Wisconsin tourism board, Canine Support Teams and the US Wolf Refuge. Loki has become the furry face of the great outdoors, and while the settings Kelly and Loki explore aree striking to see, the real centerpiece of their Instagram is the companionship they share.
