Australian health and fitness guru Emily Skye wants you to “Be Your Best Mentally & Physically.” But as her tens of millions of social media fans know, this year was a taxing one for Emily. She documented her journey through a particularly difficult pregnancy, starting out with stringent fitness goals that she loosened as time went on due to nausea and intense back pain. She learned that sometimes nature sets the limits, but Emily rolled with the punches gracefully, like she always does. After giving birth to beautiful baby girl Mia Elise in December, Emily shared a picture of her post-birth body, vowing to get back in shape, but only “in a realistic time frame.” For now, she loves her body the way it is, just as she believes others should.
