XFINITY tasked WHOSAY, the leading influencer marketing and media company, to produce a celebrity influencer campaign that would drive brand relevancy during the holiday season and ultimately create awareness of XFINITY X1, its innovative, interactive TV experience. The campaign provided an organic opportunity to highlight key X1 features (breadth of XFINITY's on demand library, sleek user interface, and easy-to-use X1 voice remote) through the lens of a celebrity influencer's personal holiday traditions.
XFINITY partnered with WHOSAY to drive brand relevance and awareness of XFINITY X1 through a series of custom social content featuring celebrity talent. The campaign enlisted actress Olivia Munn (Office Christmas Party) to explore the ways in which X1 enriches holiday rituals and provided fans with an inside look at her own personal traditions. Munn used the X1 voice remote to browse holiday movies alongside her beloved pups, Frankie and Chance, as she prepared to host an evening with family and friends. Munn's sense of humor and knack for improvisation ensured the video was an authentic glimpse into her life, making it a must-see for her social followers on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
The campaign delivered an unprecedented engagement rate of 14% and sparked a huge and overwhelmingly positive stream of comments among consumers. The video and GIF views of the campaign combined received over 9 million views.
