Meowbox, a subscription service that delivers cat toys and treats to kitty parents every month, needed a social post that would reinforce their quirky brand and reach beyond their regular fan base.
To stand out in a world of cute cat photos, we created this mildly morbid social post—showing potential customers that it's better to shower your cat with gifts, than receive one of theirs. By tapping into an experience that most cat owners can relate to, we engaged viewers, who went on to share, comment and tagged their friends in disgust.
Shared across social platforms by Meowbox (and other catfluencers), 'Better to Give than Receive' has racked up over 50,000 views, 16,000 likes and counting.
