Clayton Farris is the soft-spoken and spectacled “dad to many, father to none” who brings hapless hilarity to his vines. Often acting as the straight man in situations that are just a little bit absurd, like running into your last Tinder date in awkward surroundings, or not letting the one that got away actually get away. This year, he and periodic comedy partner Alona Forsythe created a short run of Herb and Sissy videos, playing as a retired old couple even more clueless than Clayton’s regular Vine persona. The two collaborators regularly parody modern relationships—sometimes with dark twists (and millions of loops).
