Cipriana Quann and Nikisha Brunson, the two co-founders of Urbanbushbabes created the site in 2011 to give women of color a platform to go beyond the labels and steps outside of the box. Since then their blog has flourished into a full on lifestyle site full of information on not only how to take care of and embrace natural hair, but how to live healthy and live in style. TK Quann joined in 2013 as exec contributor. Collectively they have been featured in Glamour, Vogue, Essence, Cosmopolitan and other publications.
