Comedian, actor, and TV host Tom Green was stifled by censorship and regional regulations with his TV show, and ventured into online platforms to preserve his creative integrity and engage fans directly. In 2015, Tom launched Web-o-vision, broadcast from a studio in LA through Periscope and his YouTube channel. Sometimes the shows are more random, lasting up to two-and-a-half hours, and even twice in one day, but they’re mostly daily impromptu talk shows, interviewing celebrities and weirdos—Eric Andre, Andy Dick, Duncan Trussell. He also tweets out a location (like a donut shop in Burbank) and a time, where fans can meet him and become his de facto Periscope audience.
