The Digital Content NewFronts are a two week showcase for brands to hear from top content creators and distributors. But this fractured and ever changing landscape leads to a lot of anxiety- which platforms to pursue, how to get the right content for your audience, how to avoid being left behind. For a lot of them, it'd be nice to have someone to guide them to the right answers.
So we created one: the Advertising Prophet. This humorous video let marketers laugh at some of our own foibles, while reinforcing the core message of the DCNF: put your faith in digital storytelling.
The target audience of senior level brand marketers are aware of the Digital Content NewFronts – but aren't all sure what to take away from the event: whether they should truly pursue a digital first marketing strategy or embrace native content. We shared the video at the event to engage them with a relatable, humorous video, and released it online to allow organic sharing to reach even more people and demonstrate the power of digital storytelling.
We used the natural awareness and interest around the Digital Content NewFronts to help reach our target audience. The marketers in attendance were already receptive to the core messages of the conference, while sharing it organically during the DCNF helped amplify the video and its message.
