Build brand awareness resulting in increased consideration during the purchase process for small businesses (1-10 employees) seeking a payroll service to help them have control over paying employees, as well as automating the increasingly complex tax compliance process.
We sought not only to provide thought leadership on payroll and taxes, but on all aspects of running a small business from using social media and technology to being more productive to understanding economic trends.
Our objective was to use Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Google Plus and YouTube to achieve the following goals:
-Leverage content, PR, advertising to educate and entertain our target audience.
-Develop and execute written and graphic content to build engagement through social sharing, SEO and traffic coming back to our website and blog properties.
-Generate content that results in backlinks to the SurePayroll properties to strengthen our SEO rankings.
-Enhance SurePayroll's reputation.
The focus of our strategy was twofold:
1. Promote our content through paid advertisements on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Pinterest - targeting small business owners and entrepreneurs nationwide. This drives business owners back to our blog, where we feature relevant content, and they have a chance to become aware of our brand, and ultimately find their way to our product offering.
2. Place content on other media sites that have a strong social media presence, and allow the readers/viewers of those sites to share out our content.
