Sione Maraschino and his dance moves have found a home across social media—Vine, SnapChat, and Instagram. Sione, aka Sione Kelepi, first came to internet fame on Vine with a viral six-second video of him doing the “Maraschino Step" in a parking lot. He kept making dance vines, and with his bigger body became an unusual and most welcome addition to the dance scene. Soon after, he appeared in Meghan Trainor’s “All About That Bass" video, finding a mainstream audience for his creative and unconventional choreography, which often has a sense of humor and can be set nearly anywhere—a parking lot, a garage, or even a swimming pool.
