Reshma Saujani founded Girls Who Code, a nonprofit charged with “closing the gender gap in the technology and engineering sectors," aiming to have a million girls in tech by 2020—and well on their way. Her book Women Who Don’t Wait In Line: Break The Mold, Lead The Way came out in 2013, and she was a #BlogHer15: Experts Among Us advisory member. Despite having no background in computer science, Reshma became an expert on the subject simply by following her curiosity, which she hopes will inspire other girls and women who don’t think they have the chops to be in tech to take the chance, too.
