Drum up buzz for Nickelodeon's pro-social award show, the HALO Awards, utilizing new technology integrated into the show campaign. The award show itself is a series of concerts help to honor kids who Help And Lead Others in their communities.
Every November Nickelodeon hosts a pro-social award show called the HALO Awards where celebrities honor kids who are Helping And Leading Others in their communities. Over the years this show has become a pro-social concert with bands, celebrities, and influencers coming together to honor these amazing kids.
One of the concerts is pre-taped a few weeks in advance at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida and open to anyone in the theme park at that time. This past year we had WALK THE MOON perform and decided to take it to the next level. We worked with Immersive Media to set up multiple 360 cameras along the venue to create a multi-cam 360 music video.
Nickelodeon then partnered with Facebook to become one of their first partners to create 360 video for Facebook users on iOS devices. Anyone logged into Facebook through their iOS and Android apps could turn their phones into a 3D experience
The reach of our video was amazing! Our Facebook post received 18.8M impressions, 2.8M views, and 47k Likes.
The video received an addition boost through being mentioned in Facebook's 360 video press release and shared through Sheryl Sandberg's Facebook account
