About Kati Morton

Kati Morton is a licensed marriage and family therapist, who uses YouTube to reach people afraid of or unable to seek mental health services. Kati regularly uploads videos on topics like emotional abuse and eating disorders twice a week, and after incidents like the Oregon school shooting or Nicole Arbour’s “Dear Fat People" controversy, she records videos to talk about coping with grief and stress. She’s built an online community surrounding the hashtag #KatiFAQ, engaging with her YouTube and website comments sections, hosting live Meetups in Santa Monica. She also appears regularly on other YouTuber’s shows and podcasts, like the The Mental Illness Happy Hour.
