Started by two guys who wanted to suggest the right restaurants to fit their friends’ needs, The Infatuation creates “restaurant reviews that don’t suck." Somewhere between the democratic reviewing of Yelp and the elitist reviewing of traditional magazines, The Infatuation’s reviews are written by proven food lovers with real people in mind. Since its launch, Infatuation has actively pushed reviews on IInstagram, Twitter, and their 5-star rated app which is available on both iOS and Android, encouraging followers to share their own delicious encounters with the hashtag #EEEEEATS. In addition to the Infatuation, they run @icecream, @burger, @pizza (in collab with @fuckjerry), @coffee, @pasta, @tacos and they now have city-specific accounts in LA, San Francisco, New York, and Chicago and have launched a real-time restaurant recommendation messaging service called Text Rex.
