Former Irish boy band star Donal Skehan worked in his family’s fruit business and turned his love for food into a successful writing and TV career. His blog Good Mood Food evolved into a cookbook and a show called Kitchen Hero, which turned into a YouTube channel devoted to HomeCooked recipes. Donal is personable and approachable in his presentation, and Jamie Oliver must have seen the winning combo because his FoodTube Network recently acquired Donal’s channel to broaden its reach to 3 million views and 250,000 subscribers. Donal still creates his own recipes and has some great photos her shares often on social media to prove it.
