The 2015 MTV Movie Awards were a colorfully bombastic display of a Merrie Melodies-influenced style, courtesy of artistic duo Dabs and Myla, Australian graphic designers turned installation art denizens of Los Angeles. The pair are constantly creating new murals, new sets, new collectible toys all in the same whimsical, sharp-edged style, where dynamite sticks threaten to blow themselves up and aerosol cans can’t stop spraying other aerosol cans.
