After Allison Neiman’s pregnancy and breastfeeding, she lost her personal style and turned to the online stylist pros at Stitch Fix for help. Everyday she instagrammed her outfit—using the hashtag #DressLikeUs—by holding the camera by her head, facing down to get her own perspective, which often included her youngest daughter by her side. In 2014, she documented her new pregnancy through her Instagram to 15k style fans. Now she and her husband, an undertaker, have started the Life as Us blog to give an honest portrayal of their unique San Francisco lives as a blended family in the mortuary business.
