ShackBurgers were made for Instagram! It's our highest-performing, fastest-growing, most engaged social media channel. We watch our feed and brand-relevant hashtags closely and regularly re-gram Shack-related photos that look especially delicious or have a cool artistic edge. Shack fans love to be featured, we love to feature them, and we end up with a rich stream of visual snacking that drives mega-engagement. The results? 85+% (completely unpaid) growth in follower count in 2014 alone.

Strategy and Execution

We're a very small but super scrappy team. What we lack in budget we make up for in in-house creative marketing muscle. We use a combination of smartly sourced UGC and original multimedia content to capture the deliciousness, whimsy, and lively spirit of the Shake Shack community gathering place experience. As a result, our account has been featured twice by Instagram as a Suggested User and was profiled by the Webby Awards in a 2014 social media white paper.
